Kraftwerk Bille in Hamburg-Hammerbrook – new office space within historic walls
1
Following the renewal of the Elbe islands and the Harburg inland port, the central location of Hammerbrook is becoming the focus of Hamburg's urban planning and part of a long-term development project in eastern Hamburg. The proximity to the city center, the attractive waterfront location and the numerous green spaces make the Bille power plant the center of this development. By 2024, the Bille power plant will be carefully but sustainably renovated and revitalized with exciting content.
AN INDUSTRY CLASSIC,
WITH A NEW
AND MODERN TWIST.
Location
Kraftwerk Bille is located in Hamburg’s Hammerbrook district, which is shaped by history and new
creative endeavours. Here, where the Alster–Bille–Elbe green corridor bridges the gap between bustling business and urban nature, Hamburg’s city centre is just a stone’s throw away – and yet Hammerbrook is exceptionally independent and original.
